This piece was for a project in my Drawing 2 class. We were to draw an object or moment that had a significant impact, I decide to choose my hair journey of finally knowing how to take care of my natural hair. For most of my life, I had to use perms or flat iron my hair because my family believed it looked better. so for the past 2 years, I have been learning how to take care of my hair. I decided to draw the things you need to take care of natural hair, I drew things like a silk bonnet and deadman brush in green to communicate they're good for hair. While I drew things like the flat iron and sheen spray in orange because they can be bad for natural hair if not used correctly.
